The Triyuginarayan Temple - the place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married!

This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. The temple is situated at an altitude of 1,980 meters and offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains. The main attraction of the temple is the eternal flame that burns in front of the temple, which is said to have been burning continuously since the time of Lord Shiva's marriage. The temple also has a natural hot water spring called Kund, which is believed to have medicinal properties.



The temple attracts a large number of devotees and tourists throughout the year, especially during the annual Triyuginarayan festival, which is celebrated in the month of May or June. During the festival, devotees take a dip in the Kund and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu. Overall, the Triyuginarayan Temple is an important pilgrimage site in Uttarakhand and is steeped in mythology and religious significance.
