It's both pretty and meaningful. Neem Karoli Baba built the temple in the 1960s. There is an ashram for Neem Karoli Baba, who is thought to be an avatar of Lord Hanuman.

Rishikesh is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is near the Ganges River in the foothills of the Himalayas. The city is known as a place to learn yoga and meditation. Around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free, vegetarian area upstream from the town of Rishikesh, the eastern bank is lined with temples and ashrams. Depending on your preferences you have plenty to do, see & learn.
Haridwar is an old city and an important Hindu pilgrimage site in the state of Uttarakhand in northern India. It is near where the River Ganges flows out of the foothills of the Himalayas. Har Ki Pauri is the most important of several sacred bathing steps or ghats. Every night, there is a ceremony called Ganga Aarti, which honors the river. During big festivals, like the annual Kanwar Mela, the city is full of people who come to worship.
Kumaon, there is a place called Kainchi Dham which is a Hanuman temple. It's both pretty and meaningful. All around Kainchi Dham, there are hills, trees, and a river.
Neem Karoli Baba, a saint from the area, built the temple in the 1960s. There is an ashram for Neem Karoli Baba, who is thought to be an avatar of Lord Hanuman. People who go to the ashram say that they can feel Lord Hanuman and Neem Karoli Baba there.
Here, Ram Dass and other westerner followers (Krishna Dass, Bhagwan Dass, Raghu Markus, etc) met Maharajji. Babaji's teachings, which can be summed up in the phrase "Love all, serve all, and feed all," inspired people not just in India but all over the world. Babaji's teachings were spread in the United States by Harvard Prof. Richard Alpert, who gave in to Babaji and took the name Ram Dass. Seva Foundation is also in the lead when it comes to spreading Babaji's teachings for the good of all people.
Steve Jobs, who used to be the CEO of Apple, went to Kainchi Dham in 1973. Jobs went to India in a time of trouble to find peace. In 2015, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, went to the Kainchi Dham. Julia Roberts, an actress from Hollywood, is also a devotee.
This beautiful ashram on the road between Nainital and Almora is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in all of India.
At about 2,000m above sea level, Nainital is a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It used to be a British hill station. It is set around Nainital Lake, which is a popular place to go boating. On the north side of the lake is the Naina Devi Hindu Temple. A cable car takes you to the Snow View observation point, which is at 2,270m. From there, you can see the town and the mountains, including Uttarakhand's highest peak, Nanda Devi.

Kainchidham Neem Karoli Baba ashram is peaceful. Ashram has a Hanuman Mandir. The river and hills that surround the Ashram make for a beautiful and peaceful setting.

Yes, it appealed to me. It has a gorgeous setting among the trees, with a running creek below. Remember to bring an umbrella in case of rain or thunderstorms.
